What if I want to cancel or change my booking?

No problem, just give us a ring on +44 (0)208 675 3535 or send us an email within 12 hours of your chosen booking time using our contact us form quoting your reference and we will change or cancel your journey for you.

How do I pay Herald Cars?

Herald Cars will accept credit/debit card payments (all major cards are acceptable) or Paypal.

Can I pay cash payments?

Yes, that wouldnt be a problem, just chose the cash option while making your booking online. When the journey completes please make the payment to the driver.

In case of flight delays, will I pay extra charges?

We monitor all the flight arrivals and so any changes we will be informed. We dispatch our drivers just in time for actual flight arrivals. We will wait 30 minutes free-of-charge after the flight has landed, then we will charge £16 per hour accordingly.

How will I find my driver when I arrive?

You should direct yourself to The Information Desk and our driver will be waiting for you holding a sign board with your name on it.

What happens when I can’t find my driver?

Our driver will text you his position and his phone number. Alternatively you can call us on +44 (0)20 8 673 7777 , please be ready to provide your transfer order reference number.

Will I have to pay only your quoted price?

In most cases yes, however, you may be asked to pay £16 extra after the free 30 minutes of your flight arrival.

Will I have to share a vehicle?

You will not be sharing the vehicle with anybody else, unless you ask for a group booking.

How long before I need the car should I make my booking?

Earlier bookings are always better, so we suggest you book at least 1 hour for local journeys but up to 4 hours for aiports and seaports.

What if I am booking for a party of over 7 passengers?

We will provide you with as many cars as you need each quoted with their own price. The maximum number of people in the largest car which is an MPV Plus for 8 people. However, if neccessary you may book more than one vehicle.

What if I arrive in the middle of the night?

We are open 24 hours 7 days a week, with no extra charges. However, on a few certain days, there will be an extra charge: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and Boxing Day.

What are your normal extra charges?

We charge £5.00 for extra per luggage or extra extra passsenger if they go to the same address otherwise we charge accordingly. If any stops are made on the way we may charge £2 for 5 minutes.

Will I have to make advance payment?

No, you may pay in cash or you could pay by card either online or by calling us.

Suppose my flight is cancelled, what will happen?

You must call us immediately on +44(0) 208 675 3535. Since we will know from our flights monitoring about the cancellation, no driver will have been despatched. We can refund your money but we will charge 15% as a surcharge fee or you could rebook with us while travelling within the same week without any extra charges, if you travel after one week we will still charge you 15% of your journey fee.

What if I miss the flight, what will happen?

You must call us immediately on , +44(0) 208 675 3535 Since we will monitor the flight, we shall have despatched a driver to meet you, unless you inform us before we do so. Once we have despatched the driver, the full terms and conditions shall apply and you will pay the “No Show” charge.

Suppose the flight is diverted and lands in another airport, what will happen?

You must call us immediately on , +44(0) 208 675 3535 and we will divert the driver to your new destination and charge you extra for the extra journey between the two airports or you can choose to cancel it however we will not be able to refund your money since the driver will have already been there.
